E.ON Rete distributes natural gas in Italy and operate a network of  9,168 km that provides safe, reliable gas service to 600,000 customers. The nation-wide service includes 304 concessions.

E.ON Rete has been created end of 2009 out of the companies: E.ON Rete Laghi, E.ON Rete Mediterranea, E.ON Rete Orobica, E.ON Rete Padana, E.ON Rete Triveneto.
