Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct

E.ON expresses its Corporate Responsibility through a set of policies that guides its business activity towards ethically correct behaviour, with particular reference to society and the legitimate expectations of its stakeholders.

To achieve our objectives, we recognize the importance of stakeholders, society and the environment and base our conduct on the values of Integrity, Clarity and Social Responsibility.

To this end, we have implemented a suitable organisation, management and control Model (pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001) in order to mitigate the risk of any form of irregularity in the performance of business activities and to limit the danger of committing the crimes indicated by Legislative Decree 231/2001.

In keeping with the same principles, since 2008 we have fine-tuned a Code of Ethics and a Code of Conduct, approved and accepted by all the employees of the E.ON Group in Italy.

The Code of Ethics, completely revised in 2010, is an essential part of the Organisation Models pursuant to Lgs. Decree 231/01 adopted by our companies, and highlights the principles, the commitments and the ethical responsibilities on which the company activities and the business management of the Group are based.

The Code of Conduct sets forth rules of conduct on which all the actions and operations of our Group are based.
