Nicolo Prien
Chief Financial Officer / CFO
Born in 1966, Nicolo Prien studied Business Administration in Cologne.
In 1993 he started his professional career at PreussenElektra AG, one of the predecessor companies of E.ON Energie AG, within the finance division. After 2 years working for another Energy company he returned to E.ON in 2001 and became responsible for the Group Controlling of the Continental European Energy Business in the Corporate Center.

In 2004 he took over responsibility for the Group Controlling of E.ON Ruhrgas AG, one of the leading Pan-European Gas companies. At the same time he accompanied the development of various Gas Upstream-, Gas Distribution- and Sales-companies of the E.ON Ruhrgas Group in different European countries. In this role he also advised Thüga Italia from 2005 until 2007 in the administrative board consiglio d’amministrazione. In July 2009 he joined E.ON Italia as CFO.
